Short description / storyboards:
The animation cuts between the ball bouncing along a series of pillars and a character (Mr. Pudding) standing before a bridge, stretching his limbs. As the ball approaches, he prepares himself and in the blink of an eye slices it in half with a baseball bat, and the ball explodes.
Slow in and out is applied during the peaks of the jumps, where the ball ends one bounce and prepares for a new one.
Squash and stretch is primarily applied during each bounce, where the ball stretches upwards to signify the ball, squashes down for impact, then stretches up again for the quick ascent.
Staging is applied in a number of scenes, but notably in how Mr Pudding is repeatedly shown on the right side of the bridge, emphasizing an absence on the left where the ball is gradually approaching.
